I agree. The most annoying thing by far in modern football is players diving and faking injuries to get free kicks or get the opponent sent off. That's especially annoying when you compare it to hockey. Example.

But still my favourite sports to watch are football, basketball and hockey. To actually play I prefer pond hockey and basketball, mainly because I'm absolutely useless at football. I've never played american football, rugby or baseball but I've seen a few games on TV. If they were regularly televised and I had nothing better to do, I would probably watch rugby and american football but I'm not going to make an effort to download games. Baseball on the other hand, you would have to pay me to watch it, sorry.

And then it turns into people arguing whether people should argue about the term for football, etc.... LOL

Every time someone mentiones the word "soccer" on an international site the discussion turns to an offtopic argument about what's the correct term. Not sometimes, every frickin' time. Even by internet standards this is a pretty lame thing to argue about.
